That’s why we couldn’t be more stoked to see that we made it as a finalist for the Westpac Auckland Business Awards 2021! 

NZ Compare was once again a finalist in the Excellence in Strategy and Planning Category! 

With the awards night taking place a couple of weeks ago, some of the NZ Compare team were able to get dressed up and head along to the event! 

Here’s how it went!

What are the Westpac Auckland Business Awards? 

To give you some context, the Westpac Auckland Business Awards is an annual event presented by the Auckland Business Chamber and sponsored by Westpac that honours businesses across Tāmaki Makaurau. 

The awards are split into different regions- Central, South and East, and North and West. We were a finalist in the Central awards. The awards range from best emerging business and employer of the year to excellence in customer service and excellence in marketing. 

There are heaps of awards and it’s a fun night out to celebrate fantastic Kiwi businesses in Auckland! 

This year’s Central awards night looked a bit different than usual due to covid restrictions. It took place across 5 locations with 500 people attending in total. A unique setup to ensure that all the businesses could come together and celebrate in person!

How did the awards night go??

So yes, the most important question…how did the night go? 

Well to start, we were up against some tough competition!

The other businesses nominated in our category were Blue Barn Consulting Ltd, Centrix Group Ltd, Double Yolk, Juliette Hogan, Libelle Group Ltd, Samson Corporation and Socialites Group Limited.  An awesome bunch of Kiwi businesses that we were proud to be in company with!

Ultimately, the good sorts at Libelle Group Ltd took out the prize and we couldn’t have been more happy for them! They’re a fantastic business providing schools with food and beverages! Congratulations! 

Despite the covid restrictions, the whole NZ Compare team had an incredible time out! We got to dress up, network with other companies and ultimately celebrate the wonderful achievements of NZ Compare!

Once again we give a hearty round of applause to Libelle Group Ltd and all the other businesses in our category! 

Congratulations go to Juliette Hogan who won the top award of the night, the Supreme Business Excellence Award!
